Our History
Basket Specialties Inc was established in the summer of 1989 representing Basket Warehouse Co.a Philippine basket manufacture importer, servicing & supplying retail & wholesale companies throughout the Midwest USA. Our Philippine baskets offered customers quality & unique designs not readily available in the market place.
In 1992 Basket Specialties Inc expanded product lines by representing KSL an exporter-importer of bamboo & willow baskets located in Los Angles, California in addition to our Philippine baskets. This allowed us to offer our customers wider verities of basket styles, materials & price points.
Unfortunately between 1994 & 1995 both represented companies discontinued their business operations. Basket Specialties Inc was fortunate to have many loyal customers & decided to launch an import distribution warehouse in centrally located Kansas City, Missouri.
Having gained years of significant experience and with assistance from very special Asian associates & suppliers our company continues to thrive by offering the best services & prices in the industry.
